Pascual Laboratories, Inc. is a privately owned pharmaceutical company with over 60 years experience in the manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products in the Philippines. In 2005 it was ranked as the 13th largest pharmaceutical company in the country in terms of trade sales and is currently the 2nd largest Filipino-owned pharmaceutical company



The Company’s mission is to provide quality and innovative health care products and services to global markets. The company was founded in 1946 by Mr. Isosceles S. Pascual and Mrs. Leonora F. Pascual, both licensed chemists. Its initial years of operation involved the formulation and manufacturing of medication for the treatment of tuberculosis and vitamin deficiency.

Pascual Laboratories manufacturing plant is located on a four-hectare property in Balagtas, Bulacan. The facility manufactures in solid dosage forms such as tablet , capsules and powders. It has separate facilities for the manufacturing of semi-synthetic Penicillin and Cephalosporin dosage forms and for liquid preparations. The covered production and warehousing area covers approximately 15,000 sq meters of state-of-the-art production and quality assurance facilities. The plant produces more than 300 finished dosage formulas. Currently, Pascual Laboratories manufacturing plant complies with international GMP standards and is ISO 9000:2001 certified.

As part of the company’s commitment to its mission, Pascual Laboratories entered into partnerships with foreign-based principals such as Mundi Pharma of Switzerland, Sigma Tau of Italy, SPA of Spain and Zinelle of the USA to manufacture and sell their products under license here in the Philippines.



Pascual Laboratories Consumer Healthcare Products Division is a recognized market leader in various segments of the Philippine pharmaceutical industry, namely the over-the-counter ('OTC') and wound remedy products such as Potencee (Vitamin C), and Betadine (Povidone Iodine). Pascual Pharma Care Division has a significant market share in the branded ethical prescription products market. This division handles products that are prominent in the pulmonary, cardio and urological markets. Examples are Continukit and Econokit which is for anti-tuberculosis and Propan which is an appetite enhancer/stimulant.
